A lovely day in August of 2006, I was planning to go to an all-day music event thing… A show, which was a frequent thing for me in those days. For a lot of the time, I was alone. All the people I knew were with their friends, or playing on stage. So I kept going in and out of the joint, just to keep myself busy. I’d run to my car, walk around the block, whatever. Well, one of the times, the cute door guy said to me, “You know, you can just stay in here…” which then started a conversation. We talked for a few hours, and then decided to go back to his place and “watch a movie.” It was a totally rash decision, and I could’ve gotten into some big trouble… But, I didn’t.

So, when we got to his apartment, we did start watching a movie… Clerks. We were talking a bit more, and he gave me this look, and then it started.
