My city used to have its own identity.  Oh sure, it was an ugly, dusty town.  The landscape is brown and barren.  It reminds me of a scene from the movie The Return of the Jedi.  Han Solo and Luke Skywalker  (what the fuck?  spell check doesn’t recognize Skywalker??) are about to die at the hands of Jabba the Hut.  I don’t know if that’s how you spell the name of the esteemed Hut, but it’s a pretty damn good guess.  So Han Solo is prepared to die, but admits that he can’t see anything.  Luke assures Solo by saying there’s nothing to see.  Luke was raised in this desert wasteland.  Han then remarks that Luke is going to die in the very same place he was raised.  It’s not a bad thing.  If I only had the same comfort!  Now I’m blinded by the unencumbered urban sprawl and overpopulation in this city.  I used to play with the tumbleweeds in my youth.  Where are those tumbleweeds now?

Oh, wait.  I found my tumbleweeds!  They’re here on silentpillow!  Posting is at an all-time low.  Who has the time to write in blogs?  Especially a sex blog.  I hope everyone is too busy having sex.  There, my friends, lies the rub: How many times can we post on sex?  I feel obligated to write something related to sex on here, but I can’t.  Who am I fooling?  Nutting in someone’s eye or trying to seduce North Korean women will only get me so far.  50+ posts solely dedicated to sex?  It’s crazy!  I’m certainly not capable of such feats.  sexykitten and lusciouslips are far superior.  The others . . . well, the others have moved on.  I can’t say I miss any of them except autonomyboy.  autonomyboy is still alive and I read his stuff regularly, but he posts outside of silentpillow now.  eroticshadow shrunk away.  scarletharlot is still out there, and I must admit I find her posts very refreshing.  Here’s hoping she returns with new posts soon.

The lack of posts on silentpillow isn’t a bad thing, though.  I think this is the window for new writers to emerge.  I’ve created a rag-tag street team to promote this site.  It’s a shame I’m writing shit these days.

So anyway, I thought I would write something profound and beautiful, but I’m out before I can ever really start.  Fuck it.  I’m not giving up on this site and I’m certainly not giving up on myself.  I just need to play with the tumbleweeds for a while.
